THE SEPTENARY SYSTEM & THE QABALISTIC DISTORTION

The Septenary System And The Qabalistic Distortion

It should not be forgotten that, according to our aural history, the Order of Nine Angles represents the sinister aspect of the genuine Western esoteric (Occult) tradition. This genuine Occult tradition is in stark contrast to the so-called traditions represented by Crowley, the Church of Satan, the Temple of Set and others, with their Hebrew qabala, their farcical demons and “conjurations”, their necromantic “archetypes”, their sycophantic religious attitude, their posturings, their silly “protective circles”, and their almost total lack of knowledge of Aeonic Magick and Internal Magick.

This genuine Western Occult tradition is most obvious (that is, exoterically expressed and evident) in The Septenary System, as anyone of any sagacity – and/or possessed of even the slightest esoteric empathy (natural Occult ability) – will realize when they, for example, simply compare the Septenary Tree of Wyrd with the qabalistic tree of the lifeless with its ten sephira.

For instance, one of the fundamental principles of Occultism is that of symmetry, most obviously manifest in the exoteric maxim – the cliché – of as above, so below. Now, if one compares the symmetrical Tree of Wyrd with the lumpen qabalistic tree of the lifeless, as in the illustrations below, then one can immediately see the difference:

The unsymmetrical, lumpen, qabalistic tree of the lifeless is quite obviously wrong – and appears, to an unbiased observer, to just be a mangled, later, version of the Septenary Tree of Wyrd. That is, it is an inferior and a distorted imitation – with three spheres added to make it materialistic.

In addition, seven has been, since ancient times, a numinous, and a mystic, number – unlike the dull, lifeless, qabalistic, very materialistic, ten. Indeed, in just these plain numbers – seven, and ten – we have the basic distinction between a presencing, a re-presentation, of the numinous (the sacred; the mystical; the Occult, the acausal), and the profane, the materialistic, the mechanistic, the causal.  Furthermore, we have here that most fundamental distinction, between the acausal and the causal – between living (numinous) attempts to re-represent the acausal (the essence, the source of Life) and attempts to reduce everything to a mechanistic causal, cause-and-effect; that is, between a living, vibrant, tradition and between the soulless materialism of the Magian.

In essence, the septenary re-presents the seven fundamental esoteric emanations of the acausal (the numinous) in the causal.

In contrast, the qabalistic tree of the lifeless, with its mechanistic, abstract, “ten”, is one attempt to impose the Magian ethos upon the mystical, the Occult, the numinous – thus destroying the very purpose, the very aim, of all genuine esoteric traditions – which is to: (1) make us aware of the numinous (in both its “dark” – sinister – and its “light” aspects); (2) to provide us with a means, an inner alchemy, whereby we may change, and evolve ourselves; (3) to make us aware of our latent faculties, such as empathy with natural forces and Life itself, and aid in developing such faculties. For, instead of this awareness, this change, this evolution, the qabala – and all magick and all occultism based upon or permeated with such Magian things – serves only to keep us in thrall to un-numinous abstractions, mechanistic theories, and serves only to hinder our evolution, as human beings possessed of potential and underdeveloped faculties, such as empathy.
